A few months ago I chose to walk away from a gigantic round, tufted ottoman in the clearance section at Homegoods, but we had so many other projects going on (basement remodel) that I couldn’t do it. Tonight I think I made up for it. I landed this piece (normally $129) for $40! There are so many things I want to try so I would love readers to weigh in.
So…I’m considering painting it a flat light grey with some French advertising…such as the following on the top with a complementary vintage image.

This image and MANY more can be found at The Graphics Fairy...a website that mesmerizes me on a regular basis. Soo many graphics to choose from on this site, so I’m having a blast trying to figure it out. I also have a thing for penny farthing and other images…we’ll see!
Our focus last year was room renovation. Now it’s time to get creative with smaller, craftier projects. All evening I’ve been perusing some of my favorite blogs, and getting my feet wet with online estate sales. I even have my bidder number all lined up! My Grandparents would be so proud
So far, I already have the table primed, so I hope to post pictures of the finished product soon!

What a deal! You really did make up for it! I think your ideas are great and the finished product is going to be absolutely lovely. I personally can’t wait to see it.
